Every piece of art has beauty, everyone's appreciation is different.
Extensive travel has given Roz an appreciation of how beautiful the world is and how culture affects creative arts whether the population live in the desert, a rainforest, a city, rural areas, mountainous, frozen or island regions. The influence of art appreciation and art creation leads her to explore her love of colour and form and is at the heart of her work.
Roz attempts to make her works vibrant and balanced, often related to nature. She attempts to develop a mood. Every piece of art has beauty, everyone's appreciation is different depending on their personal journey and how the piece relates to them. Roz aims to create a sense of beauty, joy, pleasure and a sense of fun. Her art can be landscape abstract or of an object of interest.
She likes to add humour with interesting characters like chickens oremus. Chickens are fun to paint in watercolour or acrylics. Flowers allow her to play with blending colours, shapes and shadows.
What's On
- Enjoy a one hour Introduction to Floral Watercolour class with RZ Art at 1pm each day.
- Be guided through working with watercolours to produce a postcard size floral design. Skills will include colour blending and application of wet-in-wet techniques to create tone.
- Take your tiny masterpiece home! $30 per person and all materials supplied.
