Clay Sculpture
Maggie has been sculpting with clay for 25 years.
She works in her studio surrounded by bush and boulders. Her love of the environment, its wildlife and granite boulders in particular, are reflected in her realistic and stylized forms. Her inspiration is a glance away as ‘roos, reptiles and birds visit her garden daily.
Maggie’s work is fired in a gas kiln to 1130C. Her work includes public art in Stanthorpe and recently a pair bronze ducks designed by her were installed on the rim of the Weeroona Park fountain on Locke Street Stanthorpe.
Maggie exhibits and tutors in South East Queensland and Northern N.S.W and conducts workshops in her studio
