Free bus to the Condamine Country Arts Trail (CCART) for Granite Belt Artisans, Sunday 6 November 2022
Springtime in the Southern Downs equals arts trails, with fully immersive experiences that showcase the rich culture, talent, history and artefacts in the region. Visitors are encouraged to take classes, watch demonstrations and be entertained by the area's wealth of local talent.
The Granite Belt Art and Craft Trail (GBART) Committee is offering a free, all-inclusive bus trip to local artisans interested in taking part in GBART 2023.
President Roxane Scott says “The move to bi-annual events is a fantastic opportunity for us all to enjoy our own sister trails! The sample itinerary provided is almost confirmed, but we want to give local GBART artisans plenty of time to book their seats”.
If you are arty or crafty and want to know what being a GBART trail artisan or volunteer involves, in addition to sharing the joy of creativity at CCART, everyone on the bus will receive -
- Opportunities to see how our sister-trail CCART works and a chance to support her artisans.
- Bottled water and Name Tag
- Lunch (details to be confirmed)
- Committee members/volunteers in attendance to answer questions.
- GBART Artisans Handbook and application template to prepare for 2023.
