Artist Louise Jenkins
Louise Jenkins is an artist who loves exploring drawing, printing and painting techniques. Visitors on the trail will discover unique hand-made cards, unframed original artworks, and artist journal kits available for purchase.
WORKSHOPS:- include all materials, no experience necessary, all ages welcome. Each 2hr workshop costs $60pp
CHARCOAL DRAWING:- Friday & Saturday mornings 10am to noon - A guided drawing experience to help you find your artistic zone. You’ll create an original drawing taking inspiration from Girraween, whilst learning charcoal drawing techniques.
INTAGLIO PRINTING:- Friday & Saturday afternoons 2pm to 4pm - Design and create 2 – 3 unique and beautiful drypoint monoprints using an etching press. Create multiple print plates, experiment with wiping, and try a variety of colours.
PAINTING:- Sunday morning 10am to noon & Sunday afternoon 2pm – 4pm - No instructions, you can paint anything!
Experiment with paint brush types, painting techniques, and colour mixing with a full colour palette of high-end student quality tempura paints, on either canvas or paper. Gentle guidance and painting tips are available when requested. Includes a box for transporting a wet painting.
