I love the concept of bringing art lovers to our Granite Belt community to see the talent of local artists whether they be painters, potters, winemakers or purveyors of fine foods.  Everyone, locals and visitors, benefit and get a chance to experience even more of this great place where we live.

Rosy Chapman

Founder & Trail Coordinator

Rosy is the founder of GBART, she established the trail and open studios event because I believe “Art and Craft is something you DO, not just look at.  Everyone can enjoy the benefits of taking part in GBART”.

Sonja Salzke

Social Media Coordinator

I love the opportunity I see GBART brings to our local Artists. It enables their artistry to be appreciated by a larger audience and it is a pathway to helping them develop a skill set in self marketing.

Owen Ronalds

Vice President

I enjoy bringing life out of chaos. I like to be involved in GBART, as an artist, to share my passions which include being deliberate about building a wider sense of community and inclusiveness in the place I live.

Volunteers Welcome!

Richard McCarthy

Committee Member

I chose to be involved with GBART because I believe in the ethos of the concept  and I love that artists get to exhibit their works on their own terms.

Susan Heywood

Newsletter Editor

What I love about GBART is the way people are invited to engage with the art and the artist. It's about connecting people in our community and that's, what in essence, life is all about also.

GBART is a great initiative that celebrates our very talented local artists and gives them a platform to exhibit their works. At the same time it is a great event which brings many visitors to our region and will grow in the future. The Granite Belt is home to many diverse and very talented creative people, we as a region are lucky.

Brooke Billett

Media & Marketing

I am thrilled to be working with GBART to bring people to the Granite Belt for a meet the maker engagement experience! Promoting venues and events on the Granite Belt is a passion of mine, and I will be leveraging my Southern Queensland media network to get the stories out. I'll be talking to the tourism drive market to encourage visitors from within a 3-hour radius to visit the Granite Belt and enjoy the event while creating  income for the region, artists and venues through arts tourism.
