Artist Karen McCann started drawing at a young age. Trying many different styles and mediums, she came to especially enjoy painting and drawing wildlife, and is an exhibiting member of the Queensland Wildlife Artists Society.

In more recent years, pet portraits have been regular commissions and with her natural talent combined with years of experience, Karen is able to create beautiful portraits in watercolour and pastels. Other custom works include pen and wash renditions of cars and houses as well as traditional pencil drawings of people from photos.

Combining a love of photography with her art, Karen enjoys this creative outlet and is inspired by her recent move to the Granite Belt area.
