Lindsay Hamilton has been an artist for 50 plus years and has won numerous awards for her work.. She trained at Glasgow School of Art in the late 1960s. Lindsay has been making pottery, both sculptural and functional in Australia since 1983. She is a professional painter, using lots of colour and texture on canvas. Lindsay is is inspired by landscapes here in Stanthorpe and also overseas. You are invited to visit her studio where she will be demonstrating both wheel pottery work and painting.
The studio is a converted garage attached to Lindsay's house which is situated on 5 acres. You are invited to her open studio to watch her work and talk to Lindsay about her art work. There is no fee to attend. Lindsay will have pottery and paintings for sale. This venue is pet friendly, however please keep your animals on a lead.
